Few questions divide the nation as much as asking what you call this drink.Whether you refer to it as squash, diluting juice or cordial, the age old debate tends to be pretty divisive.And one picture posted on Twitter has kicked off the argument once again, reports EssexLive.Absolute Radio DJ Andy Bush has certainly got people talking after tweeting a photo of Robinsons Real Fruit juice and asking his followers the 'correct' name for the drink.Many simply replied 'squash', but is that really what us Scots call it?Not everyone was in agreement with Specsavers, deliveroo and the NHS all getting involved in the Twitter discussion.Other alternatives were 'mix-up juice' 'cordial' 'dilute' 'diluting juice', 'fruit mousse' and even 'pop'.
The debate ended up with #squash as one of the top trending topics in the UK.Specsavers tweeted an image of a drink bottle and handily circled the label which said 'Multivitamin Squash'.
They added in the tweet: "Just stopping by with a quick, free eye test for half the nation."While the PSA World Tour twitter account for the game squash, tweeted a gif of a man putting his head in his hands with the message: "When you see squash is trending in the UK...
and then find out it's about the drink."The NHS replied: "Our website refers to it as squash - no reference to diluting juice or cordial.
