Following news that Robert Rodriguez‘s latest kid-friendly superhero film “We Can Be Heroes” is receiving a sequel at Netflix, Deadline has revealed that the filmmaker is developing a reboot of his popular kid-friendly “Spy Kids” franchise with Skydance Media and Spyglass Media. Skydance will serve as the lead studio and oversee development and production, while Spyglass execs Gary Barber and Peter Oillataguerre will executive produce.
