iOS - Android Planning and building standards manager Tina Meikle said: "The extension is two storeys with three classes and the AN room on the ground floor."Education have confirmed that classroom space would supply the necessary floor space required for the catchment area."One objection was submitted to the council from a resident in Bramble Wynd as the extension would be closer to the street than the current school.However, Ms Meikle said the extension would not "result in overshadowing or overlooking".Halfway Community Council were also concerned with some aspects of the proposed extension.Ms Meikle added: "The extension will extend the building by approximately 20m into the area of the play ground."Halfway Community Council did raise.
