Old Dominion frontman Matthew Ramsey is still on the mend after a painful ATV accident in March. However, he's managed to ditch the cane as he heals up.Ramsey — alongside bandmates Geoff Sprung and Brad Tursi — spoke with ET's Rachel Smith during Day 2 of CMA Fest 2023 at Nissan Stadium in Tennessee over the weekend, and he opened up about about going sans cane, and if that means he's full recovered.«Yeah, I'm standing,» Ramsey said smiling, quickly adding that, due to being accident prone in general, he's «never been 100 percent.»Ramsey took to Instagram in March to inform fans that he «was in an ATV accident that has left my pelvis fractured in three places.» Subsequently, the band was forced to postpone several planned concerts.«I'm still doing some physical therapy, yeah.

Matthew Ramsey isn't letting a cane slow him down. Ramsey and his Old Dominion groupmates — Trevor Rosen, Geoff Sprung, and Brad Tursi — stepped out for the ACM Awards on Thursday, and Ramsey used a cane to help him make his way down the red carpet.«This is my first venture into cane-dom,» Ramsey told ET's Rachel Smith of the assistive device, which he's using following a March ATV accident that caused his pelvis to break in three places. Ramsey is currently on the road to recovery and is excited, along with his bandmates, to attend the Academy of Country Music Awards.«You see everyone that you don't get to see all year round,» Tursi said of why it means a lot to be at the event.Their fans are certainly happy to have a chance to celebrate them, as the band keeps releasing hit after hit.

2022 ACMs partial winners list

The 2022 American Country Music Awards (ACMs) are here. The highly anticipated 57th annual award show is co-hosted by the previously announced ACM male and female artists of the year nominees, Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett, respectively, alongside the country music queen, Dolly Parton, at Allegiant stadium in Las Vegas on Monday.
