Son, who scored twice as Antonio Conte's side wrapped up a 3-1 win, went down like a sack of spuds after the visitors' cat-kicking defender Kurt Zouma accidentally booted the ball at his behind.
As the ball hit his backside, the Spurs ace dropped to the floor and laid horizontal in scenes reminiscent of Rivaldo at the 2002 World Cup.
Naturally, as Son turned around to identify the culprit, a melee broke out in the box between the two sets of players. The whole incident ultimately came to nothing, but fans on social media were quick to decry the South Korean for his embarrassing antics.
One person wrote: "I’m not sure what’s more pathetic, Son going down like he’d been shot or Reguilon running over to throw hands like Zouma wouldn’t lay him out."
