Archivists at the Manchester Evening News have unearthed some truly stunning photos of Christmas in Manchester city centre during the 1970s and 1980s.
Images that were once stuck on old greyscale film in the M.E.N. archives have been uncovered and digitised so that they can once again be viewed.
