Sir Alex Ferguson encouraged his young players not to use agents when he was in charge of Manchester United. That’s been revealed by former United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone as Ferguson “wouldn’t have anything to do with agents”.
Ferguson retired as United boss in 2013 after leading the Red Devils to plenty of success, including 13 Premier League titles.
United have not had the same success without the legendary Scot and have not lifted the league crown since his departure. A number of players have come and gone from Old Trafford with agents seemingly having plenty to do with any moves involving United.
