Sir Alex Ferguson made a classy gesture to Phil Neville on the day his Manchester United career ended. The midfielder spent 11 seasons at Old Trafford after graduating in the Class of ’92, making nearly 400 appearances in the famous red strip.

He won six Premier League titles, including the treble in the 1998/99 season – but decided to end his career at United in 2005 before heading to Everton for eight seasons.

But Neville has revealed how it was an amicable ending between the 43-year-old and Sir Alex.
