Football fans tuning into the full rerun of Euro 96, which began with England's dull 1-1 draw with Switzerland last night, for the first time will be in for a treat for the rest of the month.
With Euro 2020 shelved ITV have decided to quench the thirst for summer football by showing every game from that hedonistic summer.
Thankfully it got better after that disappointing opening at Wembley, but for those fans who were too young or not around to enjoy the summer of 1996, it will be an eye-opener to a wonderful summer and also another sign of how quickly football moves on.
