Single Scots looking for love admit they would bust out of lockdown to get their leg over with a new partner, a study has shown.

One in 10 lonely-hearts admitted they were prepared to break the ban on leaving their homes to meet someone new during the pandemic.

Half of people who use dating apps are still looking for love despite strict government guidance on not mixing with anyone outside of your household.

And a third say that the COVID-19 crisis has made them realise that finding someone special is more important than ever. The survey of 1000 dating app users, commissioned by happn, found that most daters are still abiding by the rules, with 93% being open to trying new ways of dating in isolation.For over half of those surveyed,
