Scotland is entering an even tighter period of lockdown restrictions with an increased focus on staying at home to help prevent the spread of the new, virulent strain of the coronavirus.
As a result, vehicle usage is expected to drop even further as the need to drive anywhere declines, which could leave many motorists open to enterprising criminals.
Keith Hawes, Director of Nationwide Vehicle Contracts, warns: “With everything going on right now motorists may not be thinking of the security of their cars as a priority.
