Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.
Prince Harry has been blasted as "petulant" after news he has threatened to legal action on the British government amid a row over security.
While the Duke of Sussex, 37, opted for a "private life" in the United States when he quit his royal duties, he has pled for security when he returns home with his wife Meghan Markle, 40, and their two children – offering to foot the bill.
Now, royal expert Jennie Bond has told OK! that the dad of two is coming across as "petulant" and "he can't have it both ways".
She said: "It's one thing to request security, but it's another to threaten to sue your grandmother's government. He comes across as petulant. "Harry can't pick and choose like this, he can't have it both ways and he's beginning to realise that having given up his royal duties, he's going to lose privileges which he thought were by birth his." The expert added that she doesn't know why the team he has in America can't provide "sufficient security".
