The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings across the central belt for today and tomorrow, as well as Tayside and Fife, as they predict floods and brutal weather conditions.

It comes after temperatures soared yesterday with Prestwick in Ayrshire even hitting 31C.But heat brought angry storms with it as the Met office warned the conditions could cause a danger of flooding and damage to buidings.Public transport could also be affected.STV's weatherman Sean Batty said: "Prestwick has just recorded a new record for June of 30.8C."Previous.
