The remnants of Tropical Storm Wanda are barrelling towards the UK and could see strong winds and heavy rain arrive in the coming week.
The US National Hurricane Centre map shows it headed this way with sustained winds and rain forecast to arrive in the UK on Tuesday, reports the Daily Mirror.
The news comes as windy weather has already seen northern Scotland hit by gusts of 60-70mph. The Western Isles, Orkney and the northern Islands have all been affected, though the weather is due to ease up this evening.However, more unsettling weather could be on its way this week as the remnants of Tropical Storm Wanda arrive.Currently over the Atlantic Ocean, it will move northeastwards in the coming hours.
