The 29-year-old software developer told the Record: "I'm ginger with fair skin, you think people who sunbathe etc get skin cancer, which isn't me at all. "I didn't know the tell-tale signs, until my girlfriend, Tessa Waddell, urged me to see a doctor." Eagle-eyed Tessa, 27, spotted a mole on Jack's calf that had gotten bigger and a little swollen in around May last year."It would bleed when I showered too," Jack, who hails from Belfast, Northern Ireland, added.
