It is said the family have spent time in Ireland away from the limelight, focusing on family life. Susan and Peter have been married for 20 years, and she has been by Kay’s side for the length of his career.
But their relationship stretches back further to the 1990s. Susan is a director of Goodnight Vienna Productions which co-produces Peter Kay’s comedy.
The couple first met in 1998 in a nightclub in Bolton, when Peter was working at a local cinema and Susan was reportedly working at Boots.
