Hertha Berlin forward Salomon Kalou has landed himself in hot water with German football authorities after posting a video on social media mocking the coronavirus crisis.
In the clip, Kalou can be seen shaking hands at Hertha's training base and mockingly shouting "coronavirus". Kalou, formerly of Chelsea, then enters a room and interrupts a test for team mate Jordan Torunarigha.
German football clubs are back in training ahead of an anticipated return to Bundesliga action later this month behind closed doors.
But any resumption of football hinges on the opinion of chancellor Angela Merkel and the German government. Hertha Berlin sit six points above the relegation play-off spot in the Bundesliga while Bayern Munich lead by four points.
