Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds has been showing his affection for the side as they reached the FA Trophy final.The Hollywood star surprised fans by showing up for the club's semi-final match with Stockport County at the Racecourse Ground.
The Dragons ran out 2-0 winners as Reynolds posted on Instagram pictures and videos of the win. In one post on his story, the 45year-old wrote: “That’s love.
This club. This town. What a win. On to #Wembley." The last time Wrexham last reached the final of the competition was in 2015 - but they lost to North Ferriby United on penalties after a 3-3 draw.“There’s only one Ryan Reynolds,” sang the home crowd as the Welsh side entered the final for the first time in seven years.
They will face Bromley at Wembley in the FA Trophy final on May 22.Prior to the match, Reynolds tweeted a picture of himself pitch-side and admitted he was nervous before kick-off, saying in a caption: "Current mood: angst".
