Ronnie Wood offers online readings to help shut-in recovering addicts

Rocker Ronnie Wood is staging online classes for his fellow recovering addicts struggling with the coronavirus lock-in.After offering up words of encouragement to Narcotics and Alcoholics Anonymous regulars, who cannot get to meetings at the moment, earlier this week, the Rolling Stones star, who has been sober for a decade, has started offering words of wisdom on his Facebook page.

Launching the initiative and posting his first video from his garden, Wood wrote: “To those in AA, NA and other recovery support groups, who won’t be able to go to meetings during Coronavirus Lockdown, I hope these readings help you as much as they help me.”He then proceeded to share a note on hope from the book Keep It Simple: Daily Meditations for Twelve-Step
