Ron Dominguez, a former vice president of Disneyland and exec vp of Walt Disney Attractions for the West Coast, died on Jan.

1, according to a post by the Disneyland Alumni Club on Friday. He was 85. No cause of death was revealed. Dominguez's family owned 10 acres of land that were purchased by Walt Disney for the construction of Disneyland in 1954.

The following year, 20-year-old Dominguez began working at the theme park as a ticket taker during the summer and was trained to supervise numerous attractions.
