Rob Kardashian was on the witness stand this week in his ex Blac Chyna‘s trial against his family and he gave an emotional testimony about what happened during their relationship.

The 35-year-old reality star detailed how he met Chyna on Instagram and “everything happened very quickly” after he reached out to her for the first time. Rob talked about being at the “lowest point” in his life during their relationship and credited that as the reason why he stayed with Chyna throughout much of their trouble. She was the one person who brought me in at my lowest point. So I ignored her bad behavior towards my family. I was very vulnerable.

I wasn’t thinking about that stuff. My mind was just in a completely different place,” Rob said (via People). Rob said they didn’t have “real love” and he cared about her because of their daughter Dream. “My child wasn’t born out of spite,” he added. “It wasn’t a real type of love or we’d have been married.
