Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

DAVID Bowie and Iggy Pop guitarist Ricky Gardiner has died aged 73. The Scottish-born musician had battled Parkinson's for some years, his daughter Annie revealed in a statement on Instagram.

Describing him as "stoic", Annie said the condition caused him to “suffer horribly”, robbing him of his mobility and speech and leaving him in need of 24-hour care.

Ricky played on the first half of iconic Bowie album Low and was introduced to Pop through the late musician. He famously wrote the iconic riff to The Passenger and played on the Lust For Life LP.

Rock legend Iggy paid tribute, calling Ricky "the nicest guy who ever played guitar." .css-16e4f55{margin:16px 0;}.css-u6yh49{background-color:rgba(246,242,249,1);margin:16px 0;}.css-1tapza8{padding:20px 15px;}.css-1bk4jdt{padding:20px.
