Fife yesterday.Heavy rain caused chaos in the region after flood alerts were issued for coastal towns Leven and nearby Methil.Scotland's east coast and central belt was battered by heavy rain and flood waters on Friday.In Dundee locals were advised to avoid the area after the Dighty Burn burst its banks at Trottick Ponds.The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) had issued six flood warnings across the north east and on the Scottish border for Friday.The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for Fife, Dundee, Angus, Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire between 10.30am and 3pm today.Flooding in homes and businesses, as well as potential travel disruption to bus and train services was predicted before stunned locals shared their concerns.
