Arsenal are already making contingency plans for the unthinkable scenario of relegation from the Premier League, according to reports.The Gunners have endured their worst start to a top-flight campaign for 46 years this season, with Saturday’s 2-1 defeat away at Everton their eighth in 14 matches.Mikel Arteta and co find themselves just four points above the relegation zone down in 15th, although they will drop one position into 16th if Burnley win their game-in-hand.Despite their current woes, however, a club of Arsenal’s stature will be expected to turn their form around and at least make it into the top half of the table come the end of the season.Yet according to The Telegraph, Gunners officials are already planning for the worst-case.
