Huddersfield owner Phil Hodgkinson sacked Danny Cowley as he reportedly wants total control over transfers.Cowley was shown the door on Sunday just hours after his side beat the Championship’s second-placed side West Brom.Huddersfield had lost just one of their last six matches with Cowley having guided the Terriers to safety.Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson and Marcelo Bielsa’s assistant at Leeds, Carlos Corberan are among the early favourites to take over at Huddersfield.And The Sun claim that Hodgkinson made the decision to sack the Cowley brothers, with Nicky as Danny’s assistant, as the owner wants control over transfer and his manager was not willing to work that way.The Cowleys took over at Huddersfield in September with the club.
