Overtime, the former graphic designer pulls no punches as he puts his old job under the spotlight and draws on the wit which has seen his popularity soar over the past year.
Like so many people across the UK since coronavirus hit, Bushrod was abruptly let go despite putting in plenty of — you guessed it — overtime.
Bushrod whose first name is Jack said: "The record stems from an experience I had last year where my boss fired me from my office job. "I would do overtime and stay for longer hours than I was meant to and gave quite a lot to the company however I felt that they didn't really value me or give me a lot of praise in return."Not only was the rapper sacked, he found out by email the evening before his weekend.He added: "As Omicron began to hit the UK, the company started to fire people, and I was unfortunately one of them.
However, it didn't really seem like they followed the correct protocol."They decided to fire me by email on a Thursday evening after I had finished work, knowing I had a day off the next day too.
