Nadiya Hussain has revealed that she will not be attempting to bake for The Queen for a second time as her Platinum Jubilee celebrations approach.The Platinum Pudding Competition was announced in January, inviting budding bakers to come up with a new dessert to celebrate 70 years of our monarch.
But the 37 year old – who baked a cake for The Queen's 90th birthday in 2016 – says she will not be putting herself forward to treat her for a second time.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, The Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya said: "One competition in one lifetime, thank you very much!" She told us: "My kids really want me to bake a cake for Meghan [Markle] and Prince Harry. I said, 'They have to ask.'" Discussing the experience of baking for the Queen, Nadiya said: "I thought it was a hoax when they asked me. "It took me a while to respond.
