Rangers legend Ally McCoist has been offered the chance to become a trawlerman for a new television series. The former Ibrox player and manager revealed producers want him to take to the high seas for a reality show that would see McCoist and other celebs spending a week on a fishing boat learning the trade.
The 59-year-old is a keen fisherman said he is unsure if he has the stomach to take on the challenge.He said: “I think it would be great if it was only for a day but they want me to go away on this fishing boat for a week.“I enjoy my fishing but I’m not sure I could go away on a boat for six or seven days.“I mean that’s serious graft and it’s dangerous.
