Scottish clubs have been handed a huge transfer market boost as it's confirmed that an exemption to work permit rules will continue permanently.
The likes of Celtic and Rangers could previously sign players from the European Union with no restrictions, helping players such as Henrik Larsson and Ronald de Boer come to Scotland.
After Brexit though new restrictions were imposed, with players required to have played international football and be playing in a certain standard of league.
For Premiership clubs that could have been disastrous, potentially stopping the next Virgil van Dijk from arriving on these shores.
