Former RB Leipzig and Schalke boss Ralf Rangnick has already outlined the importance of getting recruitment bang on the money, amid the fact that he is set to become Manchester United's new interim manager.
The Manchester Evening News understands that the Reds, following Paris Saint-Germain's decision to knock back the club's approach for Mauricio Pochettino earlier this week, have reached an agreement with Rangnick for him to take the club forward until the end of the season.
United, after making the decision to sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Sunday, decided that they would look to put an interim manager in place on a deal until the end of the campaign.
