Former centre-back Rio Ferdinand believes interim manager Ralf Rangnick has already implemented a much-needed change at Manchester United, pointing to the Reds' controlling performance against Crystal Palace.
Ferdinand made the admission ahead of United's UEFA Champions League clash with Swiss side Young Boys at Old Trafford, following Rangnick's decision to make 11 changes to the side that beat Palace on Sunday.
Although the scoreline did not make such enthralling viewing, United produced their most polished and accomplished performances in the Premier League so far this season, with them securing their first clean sheet at Old Trafford this term as a result.
