Ralf Rangnick has cast further doubt on Paul Pogba's Manchester United future and questioned the decision to let him travel to Dubai to recover from a thigh injury.
Pogba said in the summer of 2019 it was 'time for a new challenge' and his agent, Mino Raiola, admitted later that year he was 'sorry' not to have engineered a transfer to Real Madrid.
In December of last year, Raiola claimed it was 'over' for Pogba at United and outlined his intention to broker a transfer this year.
Pogba, 28, has shown no inclination to signing a new contract, with his current deal expiring on June 30. Rangnick spoke to Pogba for the first time this week and the France international is still in Dubai, where he has been for the last four weeks.
