Manchester United face the prospect of a fixture pile-up following Thursday's announcement that their weekend clash with Brighton and Hove Albion was called off.
United were set to welcome Brighton to Old Trafford on Saturday lunchtime but that game became Ralf Rangnick 's side's second just this week to be postponed after the decision not to play the game against Brentford on Tuesday.
