Nemanja Matic believes Manchester United's players have already got an idea of how Ralf Rangnick wants them to play despite the interim manager only starting work last Friday.
Rangnick has had only a handful of training sessions since starting his six-month role ahead of the 1-0 win against Crystal Palace on Sunday, but it was evident from that performance that some of his philosophies on team shape and pressing were already sinking in.
United won the ball back 12 times in the final third in that game, their highest tally since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement, and Rangnick has been pleasantly surprised at the speed with which players have taken on board his message.
