Teddy Sheringham thinks Mauricio Pochettino and Brendan Rodgers are the perfect candidates to build on Ralf Rangnick's work.
Rangnick was appointed as the club's interim boss last month — the German agreed to six months on the touchline before moving upstairs into a consultancy role — and it's thought that he'll have a degree of influence on the selection of his permanent successor.
United initially approached Paris Saint-Germain with an interest in appointing Pochettino on a permanent basis, but that enquiry was quickly rejected by the French club and Old Trafford chiefs subsequently moved to install Rangnick as interim manager.
