Vladimir Putin has been humiliated once again after losing another colonel, the 50th to have been killed since he launched the invasion of Ukraine in February.
Artillery commander Lt Col Vladimir Nigmatullin, thought to be 46 and a dad-of-thee from Yekaterinburg, was killed on May 31.
His death was only revealed to Russian forces today and has now been confirmed by his family. Nigmatullin's passing means that Putin has been losing colonels at a rate of one every two days since Russian troops crossed the border into Ukraine.
It is yet to be confirmed exactly how Nigmatullin was killed. Taking to social media, his sister-in-law Marina Konyukhova said: “Eternal memory, darling, dear, much-loved man, you passed away.“We still cannot believe you are gone.
