Since lockdown began in the UK, some of our favourite fast-food restaurants have been forced to close their doors. Perhaps most frustratingly for parents, who now have to entertain their little ones during the week, McDonald’s shut both its delivery and restaurant services.

That means no more Happy Meals, or the little toys that distract kids so well for half an hour after lunch. To remedy this, parents around the world have been creating their own McDonald’s fakeaways – including recycling toys their sprogs have forgotten about.
