Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson once snuck away from a stuffy event at Balmoral Castle to go to a party for staff, the Duchess of Wales' former chef has claimed.
Darren McGrady knows more than most about the Royal Family and their habits. Between 1982 and 1993, he was a live-in chef at Buckingham Palace, preparing lavish meals for the Queen during that time.
On leaving the role, he moved to Kensington Palace and served as Diana's personal chef, also cooking for sons William and Harry as well.
He now lives and works in Dallas, Texas, and has written multiple cookbooks, but still looks back fondly on his time working with Diana.
