And while there were lots of sweet moments on the walkabout, one touching interaction was when the new Prince of Wales spoke to the crowd about dogs - and his beloved cocker spaniel Orla.
He told the mourners he has been "cuddling" his pooch "a lot" since the passing of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. A TikTok video uploaded by Rach Cot sees William spots a lady clutching a cute Italian Greyhound called Luna.
The Prince of Wales affectionately stroked the dog and said: "You're very sweet Luna. How old is she?" The lady replied with: "She's nearly two." He responded with: "Dogs at this time are so important.
