Supermarkets and retailers are shaking up their opening hours when lockdown ends. Some of the biggest names on the high street will be making changes from December 2.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson today outlined new rules for the tier-three system which will be replacing the England national lockdown next week.
The move from retailers comes in a bid to ensure Christmas shoppers can get their goods before the big day - and to stop shops being so crammed that social distancing is not possible.
M&S is opening shops until midnight, with Aldi ensuring supermarkets stay open until 11pm from December 21 to December 23, reports Birmingham Live.
