Fans will be allowed back into stadiums from next month in a huge boost for football. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has given the green light for up to 4,000 fans to go to Premier League games from December 2 onwards.
That means supporters in Tier One and Two can go to football matches and other sporting events both indoors and outdoors after the lockdown ends.
Rugby, horse racing - including the King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day - and the PDC World Darts Championships at Alexandra Palace could all have fans allowed to attend.
It is a huge boost for Premier League clubs, the EFL and also grassroots football while gyms and leisure centres will be allowed to open with only areas in Tier Three not allowed to have fans back in.
