Primark prepares to reopen with senior staff returning to work

Store managers at Primark have been busy making sure branches are as ready as possible to reopen safely as soon as restrictions are lifted.

With no retail website to sell clothes direct to people during lockdown, Primark has suffered more than most during the coronavirus trading restrictions - building up a mountain of unsold clothes and other goods.

But the chain is now putting in efforts to get up and running as fast as possible, with store managers and assistants visiting sites last week to complete administrative work.
