A pregnant mum-to-be was killed after an alleged drink driver mounted a pavement - with her baby girl having to be delivered by C-section 35 weeks premature.
Yesenia Lisette Aguilar was rushed to hospital after being struck by Courtney Pandolfi's Jeep on Tuesday evening - but didn't survive.
The 23-year-old was walking with her husband, who was "narrowly missed" by the allegedly out of control 4x4, according to police in Anaheim, southern California.
Her baby is understood to be in a critical condition, reports the Mail Online. A witness said Ms Aguilar's husband began screaming after failing to find a pulse - while people from a nearby Taco Bell reportedly performed CPR.
