Wigan Athletic has been chosen by the club's administrators. Joint administrator Gerald Krasner revealed that five offers had been received for the Championship outfit.The preferred bidder, which has not been made public, has until midday tomorrow (Thursday) to prove it has the funds to buy the club.The news comes as the Latics face a crunch fixture against Fulham this evening.Wigan need to win and hope other results go their way in order to avoid being relegated from the Championship.The club faces a 12-point deduction as a result of entering administration earlier this month.At a press conference at the DW Stadium on Wednesday, Mr Krasner revealed that the club owed £6 million to creditors, adding that players would need to be sold to pay.
