As the world prepares for Queen Elizabeth II's funeral Monday, the younger members of the royal family are preparing for their important roles in tomorrow's service. According to the order of service, 9-year-old Prince George and 7-year-old Princess Charlotte will walk in Her Majesty's funeral procession, behind their late great-grandmother's coffin. The young royals will follow behind their parents, Prince William and Duchess Kate Middelton, and in front of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during the procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey. Queen Elizabeth’s funeral will be held on Monday, Sept. 19, following four days of lying in state at Westminster Hall.

Paying tribute. Ahead of Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral, world leaders and diplomatic guests have started to arrive in London — including President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden.

The King and Queen Consort hosted world leaders and official overseas guests at Buckingham Palace on Sunday 18 September. His Majesty, 73, and Camilla, 75, were also joined at the event by Kate Middleton and Prince William in what the King’s spokesman described as an “official state event”.

By one estimate, as many as 4 billion people could be watching as the funeral of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II takes place on Monday, September 19 beginning at 11 a.m. BST (3 a.m. PT). As many as 750,000 people are predicted to travel to London for the state funeral and pay their respects as the queen lies in state, per the UK’s Guardian. Among those waiting in line 12-plus hours to pay their respects was David Beckham. The service at Westminster Abbey is likely to be among the biggest single ceremonial events staged in the U.K. since World War II.

When Camilla married King Charles in 2005, she became the stepmother of his children Prince William and Prince Harry and took over the duties as the Duchess of Cornwall.  Due to their desire to live a more private life away from the spotlight, many forget Camilla had two children of her own when she married Charles.  Camilla has a son, Tom Parker Bowles, and a daughter, Laura Lopes, from her first marriage to Andrew Parker Bowles.The couple was married from 1973 to 1995.The official divorce statement said their marriage was ending because there was "little of common interest between" the couple. While the marriage didn’t work out, the pair managed to raise their children to become highly successful.

President Joe Biden has arrived in London, where he will join other world leaders at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday. 

The Queen's funeral will take place on Monday 19 September at Westminster Abbey. The day was announced to be a bank holiday by her heir King Charles III in one of his first addresses as the new monarch.The UK will say goodbye to the monarch, who reigned for an incredible 70 years, today with the televised proceedings to start at 11am.The State funeral has been planned for years, though in recent days conversation has turned to talk surrounding the cost of the large scale event.
