Police investigating an "unprovoked" attack on actor Rick Moranis have arrested a man on suspicion of assault. The Ghostbusters star, 67, was punched in the head and knocked to the ground while walking close to New York City's Central Park last month.
Moranis was admitted to hospital for an evaluation but a representative for the star later insisted he was doing "fine". Cops subsequently called the attack "random" and "unprovoked" as they launched an appeal for information.
Police in the Big Apple have now detained Marquis Ventura, 35, who is believed to be homeless, on suspicion of assault in the second degree.
