A three-car crash during Friday's morning rush-hour caused heavy disruption for commuters in south Manchester. Part of the Princess Parkway in Northenden was closed following the smash under the M60 flyover near the Airport Hotel.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said three vehicles were involved in the crash and a number of minor injuries were suffered.
There were long queues on the Princess Parkway following the crash, which happened around 8.30am. A number of bus services were also delayed following the incident. Stagecoach tweeted: "Route 103. Diversion in both directions via Church Road, Palatine Road and Barlow Moor Road and Princess Road.
