The Duchess of Sussex formally complained to the broadcaster after Piers said he "didn't believe" she had suicidal thoughts while pregnant with son Archie, the PA news agency understands.
On Monday's GMB, while discussing Meghan and Prince Harry's interview with Oprah, Piers said: "I wouldn’t believe it if she read me a weather report," hours after the interview aired in the US."The fact that she's fired up this onslaught against our royal family I think is contemptible.
Then on Tuesday show, Piers stormed off the set of GMB after an on-air row with weather presenter Alex Beresford who criticised him for “continuing to trash”.
