Piers Morgan has opened up on his departure from Good Morning Britain following the row over his comments about Meghan Markle in his latest column for the Mail on Sunday.
Piers quit the ITV breakfast show on 9th March, just one day after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive Oprah Winfrey interview aired.The 55 year old star has now confirmed that he quit the ITV morning show after he refused to apologise for his comments about not believing Meghan’s claims in the interview, which have sparked the highest number of complaints to Ofcom ever.
Piers admitted that before presenting the show on Tuesday, he had "a bad night of broken sleep" which left him "tired and agitated”.
