Paul Hollywood praises 'hero' Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick for saving his cat after horrific injuries
The Great British Bake Off's very own Paul Hollywood has shown his gratitude to TV's Supervet, Noel Fitzpatrick, for saving his beloved cat's life.The celebrity baker rushed his injured pet to the renowned Irish vet, who gained fame on Channel 4's The Supervet and operates out of Fitzpatrick Referrals in Godalming, Surrey.Taking to his Instagram, Paul shared his relief and appreciation to his 619K followers, posting: "I do hope football's coming home Sunday." He continued, "But our cat came home today, after she suffered horrific injuries, and it's all down to @profnoelfitzpatrick and his team that she's alive...Thankyou Thankyou to you all." In a sweet gesture of thanks, Paul even judged the clinic's staff baking contest, which Noel affectionately called the "Great Fitz Bake Off" in a social media post.The vet praised Paul, saying: "Paul went above and beyond with his inimitable enthusiastic passion and extraordinary professionalism to make our little event one we will all treasure forever." He added a heartfelt message: "On behalf of everyone at Fitzpatrick Referrals, we love you Paul, and thanks for being a fantastic advocate for the animals... And the cakes! ".
